Project development
At AK Productions Studios we've developed our own methods in project workflow that we believe gives us the edge in producing high-end design and ensuring you know exactly how we are going on about doing it.
Step 1 - Info Gathering
The first step in a project is gathering all the necessary information to begin. We begin by gathering required info and discussing how you want your page to look and gathering any assets you wish to be incorporated. At times we will provide you with a quesionnaire to fill out that allows us to understand your needs. Other times we may schedule an interview to allow you to communicate your ideas to our designers.
Step 2 - Initialize
A project designer will then produce a mock work-in-progress design and send it to you for approval. You may request any changes and will have the ultimate decision in how your design looks. Depending on the project scale we may develop a wire-frame of the entire project before initiating a design.
Step 3 - Design & Develop
Once a specific design is approved by you, the full design and development of the project starts taking place. Once complete, another fully functional proof will be sent to you for approvale, so you can see exactly how it is looking and if you would like changes made.
Step 4 - Test & Assess
Once a finalized design is complete we begin the testing phase. Depending on the project, this step may not apply. For a website, we begin by uploading your site to our private servers and initiate a test and debug phase.
Step 5 - Deploy & Review
Once all testing is complete, we launch your project and celebrate! Afterward we review and ask you for feedback and critiscm on what we could of improved on.
