1. Lets begin by opening up a new canvas, I'm going with 1024*768 dimensions. Next get your gradient tool (g) and double click on your gradient to take out the gradient editor. use the following settings to create a new gradient:

2. Now fill your canvas with your gradient and then make a new layer. Get your Rounded Rectangle Tool (u) and make rounded rectangle in the middle of your page like so:

3. Next get your rectangular marquee tool (m) then click subtract from selection:

4. Now remove the selection from the bottom of your selection to the top, BUT leaving about 30 pixels of space from the top, like so:

5. Now your image should look like this:

6. Now we are going to add text, so type in some text (T) and then double click on it's layer or right click on the layer and click on blending options. Now go to Outer Glow and use these settings:

7. Next go to color overlay and use these settings, the color i used is #9B4800.

8. Now go to stroke and use these settings:

9. Your text should look similar to this.

10. Now we are going to add color, so go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance. Now for Midtones use the following settings:

11. Now check the 'Shadows' circle and use these settings:

12. Check the 'Highlights' circle and use these settings:

13. Now your image should be finished with a final touched-up color. If you are having problems make sure the Brightness/Contrast and Color Balance Layers are on top of every layer, like so:
